NE Tarrant Tea Party PAC is hosting a group blockwalk for Armin Mizani on Saturday, January 27. Armin is challenging Giovanni Capriglione for House District 98 State Representative. Gio's conservative voting rankings have dropped from A to C to F on pretty much every conservative scorecard out there. As we all know, nobody gets more conservative in Austin, and Gio is Exhibit A! Giovanni was elected on the tea party wave, and it will be the tea party that now must remove him. The good news is that Armin Mizani is not just any candidate. He's a strong conservative with a proven record and a solid work ethic. He has earned our support!
As a bonus, your participation in this blockwalk qualifies you for a free ticket to our movie night in April!
Highly regarded for his principled, energetic and idea-driven leadership, Armin Mizani is part of a new generation of conservative leadership and a candidate for the Texas House of Representatives in house district 98.
Armin is running for State Representative motivated by his family and yours, and believing that Texas’s greatest days still lie ahead. Armin is a husband, father, attorney, and small business owner who believes in limiting the size of government, lowering taxes, improving education, securing our border, and fighting for transparency and accountability in Austin.
Armin has a passion for serving his community. Armin currently serves on the Keller City Council where over the last 3 years he has successfully fought to reduce the tax rate each and every year, while also introducing the first increase to the Homestead Exemption in over 30 years. In addition, Armin has been a vanguard for transparent leadership – authoring Keller’s revised ethics policy and often hosting town hall events which he refers to as “Idearaisers” where he solicits citizen input and ideas.
In 2016, Armin was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve on the Automobile Burglary and Theft Prevention Authority. In that capacity, Armin works in partnership with municipalities and law enforcement agencies throughout the State of Texas to combat vehicular and property theft occurring all around the State. He has also continued his community and civic involvement having served as a precinct chair and delegate to the Republican State Convention. For consecutive years Armin has been recognized by Keller residents and K Magazine – being named “Best Local Government Official” in 2017. Serving the community is an honor and privilege Armin doesn’t take lightly.
Armin and his wife, Kathy, first met during their freshman year at Purdue University. They have been married since 2012 and are proud parents of two children: Aiden and Kendall. They attend mass at Good Shepherd Catholic Community in Colleyville and are proud to call house district 98 their home.
