RINOcare Protest

Date: March 18, 2017
Time: 11:30 am to 2:30 pm
Cost: free
Location: Richardson High School
1250 Beltline Rd
Richardson, TX 75080
Speaker: Congressman Pete Sessions

Friends and fellow patriots,
Oh boy!  If you missed Tom DeLay at last night's meeting, you missed a good one! You can watch the video here if you want.  It's just the presentation and does not include the Q&A.

During the Q&A, Tom was asked what we're supposed to do about our pathetic representation, and Tom said something along the lines of "When your Congressman does something wrong, hound him until he cannot ignore you. When he does something right, praise him loudly." It's as wise as it is simple, and he urged us to take seriously the plan to protest at Congressman Pete Sessions office on Saturday.  He said if they won't come to us, we must go to them and MAKE THEM LISTEN.  Yes!

Why are we protesting?  Because RINOcare is worse than ObamaCare, if you can believe that!  He gave us several facts, but the one that stuck in my mind was that folks deemed unable to pay for insurance will receive a check in advance of receiving the insurance bill EVERY MONTH for...get this...  anywhere from $4,000 to $10,000 per person!  Gee, sign me up!  Oh, wait...  never mind... I'm a responsible, tax-paying citizen so I don't qualify.  Agh!  These Congressmen are insane!

So the plan is to protest at Congressman Pete Session's townhall meeting on Saturday.  Tom told us to be in their faces so we cannot be ignored.  We used to be good at that.  Not so much anymore it seems.  Our presence at Congressman Burgess's townhall was unimpressive.  You know who was impressive?  The Left.  Wow!  They come out in HUGE numbers.  It's like we aren't even there.

Simply put, we're gonna have to do better.  We cannot grow weary in doing good.  That's Biblical... look it up!  I've heard from several of you asking what's the point -- saying you're tired of protesting and making calls and being heard.  Say what?  That is NOT how you win!  You win by never, ever, ever giving up!  That's Winston Churchill.  We must be tireless!

TIRELESS!  Must I continue to beg and plead and provide famous quotes and urge you some more?  I get tired too!  But if we won't fight, who will?  When I mention to my 10-year-old daughter that I'm tired and want to quit, she cries.  She literally cries.  "Mommy, if you won't save America, who will?  What will happen to me?"  I'm not making this up, folks, and that's all I'll ever need to keep me going.

So I will plan to see you on Saturday

Say NO! to RINOCare!

PS.  Bring posters!  Remember... nobody asked Congress to repeal and replace.  We only asked for repeal... it was Congress who added "and replace!"  We aren't that easily fooled!  In reality we simply need a one-page bill that says, "Obamacare is hereby repealed!"  Done!
