Rep. Lamar Smith has had it with so-called experts lying about what federal law allows for local enforcement of immigration rules.
In today’s Washington Post, he takes to task the immigration chiefs of the past two Presidents (one Republican and one Democrat) who have joined others in distorting the purpose of the “287(g)” local enforcement program, which is something of a model for the Arizona law that is scheduled to take effect later this week but is also tied up in federal court.

News cameras are now required to remain over 65 feet away from anything that is a result of the Gulf Oil Spill. Immediate detainment, severe jail times and heavy fines will now be imposed in the name of “Not Hindering Cleanup”….

Are you upset yet at what is going on with your freedom and liberties. Sooner or later you’ll get there, and the later is happening as we speak. Thank God the Supreme Court voted 5 to 4 to keep your gun. The Government is out of control and they are trying to shut down the internet now. The internet bill was passed yesterday through the committee and is in the house now. Wake Up America!!!!! I don’t want to sound like a broken record but the country is already there, BROKE!!!!
You just spent $20,000,000 to move members/supporters of Hamas, a terrorist organization, to the United States; housing, food, the whole enchilada.
H.R. 1388 was passed, behind our backs. It wasn’t mentioned on the news, it just went by on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN screen.
President Barack Obama funds $20M in tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to the USA, which was not mentioned in the news.
By executive order, Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in “migration assistance” to the Palestinian refugees and “conflict victims” in Gaza .
The “presidential determination,” which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States, was signed and appears in the Federal Register.
Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order provides a free ticket complete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.
Now we learn that he is allowing thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense.
These important, and insightful, issues are being “lost” in the blinding bail-outs and “stimulation” packages.

WE are losing this country at a rapid pace. These people will be fast-tracked to voter status before the next election, along with the 20 million illegals that are already here. How? Think ACORN tactics, the same way Obama got elected the first time.

In an episode of The Mentalist which aired on CBS Thursday night at 8:00 pm EST, Simon Baker as Patrick Jane and as an investigator on the show was attending a high school reunion in search of leads, etc. At the reunion the band was playing and people were dancing the Macarena. Simon in a comment as the scene closes out states (paraphrased) high school would have been much more fun if they started the day with the Macarena instead of the Pledge of Allegiance.
Another disgusting attack on the Pledge of Allegiance which appears linked to the immigration issue as well.
Contact CBS and the show sponsors and let them know this cannot stand this will not be tolerated.
