Neighborhood Walks for Pastor Stephen Broden

Conservative Stephen Broden is running for Congress against liberal Eddie Bernice Johnson in the 30th district of Dallas. We need to get people like her out of our Government and get people like Pastor Broden in, and start taking our country back. He needs a lot of help so anything you can do, walk, give money, make phone calls. It is never easy to take these incumbents out.

He could really use our help with his campaign.  If you’d like to get involved, click here for his campaign site.  Many of us are committing to walking neighborhoods for him at least once a month between now and the elections.  Please join us!  No experience necessary!

We are setting aside July 31, Aug 14, Aug 21, Sept 4 and Sept 11 for these walks, but we have members who are walking EVERY Saturday morning.  No matter what your schedule, your help is needed!  Please contact Dawn Neuman at dawn_neuman@msn.com with the date you can join in.

Anyone interested we will be meeting at 7:45 AM sharp from the JC Penney’s parking lot by the road where you come in to Grapevine Mills Mall. We will leave at 8:00 AM and car pool to the different locations to walk the 30th District. I will have directions to all of these places to hand out in the morning. When you get to the different locations they will have clipboards and detailed instructions.

Sept 18 – Ann Coulter at the Wake Up America Tea Party

The Ft Worth 912 group is hosting a Wake Up America tea party on Sept 18, and Ann Coulter is their keynote speaker!  Tickets are free!

Sept 25th: NETTP Potluck Dinner w/ Broden and Flores

Enjoy food and fellowship with conservative friends AND show support to two outstanding candidates!

Congressional candidates Bill Flores and Stephen Broden will both join us as guest speakers.  They’ll also have tables set up to collect much-needed funds and sign-up new volunteers.  Put your money where your mouth is, and support these two truly conservative and local candidates!

NETTP will provide the Brisket, Drinks, and Tableware.

Flores For Congress: Volunteering

Bill Flores Campaign – The NETTP has been asked to pick one Saturday a month to help walk neighborhoods for Bill Flores. To find out more about him, click for information on the Bill Flores campaign.  Flores is running against Chet Edwards, who has voted with the Democrats 97% of the time and was Nancy Pelosi’s choice for VP!

We meet at the school where we hold our meetings: 1060 E Highland in Southlake 76092 (in the gym of Highland Meadow Montessori Academy),  generally around 7:30am, and carpool/caravan down to District 17 (Granbury, Cleburne, Burleson, etc).

If the above dates don’t work for you, the campaign has walks scheduled for every Saturday until November. I urge you to help in whatever way you can!

Focus on Public Schools

Our meeting on the topic of the Public School System will include TWO fantastic guest speakers!  Merry Lynn Gerstenschlager, Vice President and Education Liaison of Texas Eagle Forum, and Dr. Bill Ames both have vast knowledge on this subject.  They’ll both speak on different areas including:

• The text books standards – have they been politically hijacked
• Legislation affecting education coming in January 2010 and how grass roots people like the Tea Parties can have effective input
• Conservative view points on current things happening in the schools.
• The effect of politics on education

Following their presentations, they’ll both join together for a Q&A session from the audience.
