Those who live in the DFW metroplex have a unique opportunity to have our voices heard by President Obama and the Congress on one of the most important issues facing our country – the Federal Debt.
Dallas is one of six main sites for a nationwide electronic town meeting entitled:

Dallas Convention Center.
(Lunch and childcare will be provided.)
Thousands of Americans across the country linked by satellite and webcast will participate in an unprecedented national discussion to help find solutions to our budget deficit and the national debt. The purpose of this national discussion is to find common ground on some of the tough choices our country needs to make about spending, taxes and the role of government. Americans across the country will weigh-in on different strategies for dealing with this problem. After the meeting, the results will be shared directly with the President and Members of Congress and will also be widely publicized by the news media.

On Monday, June 28, the NETTP will host a fundraiser at Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. Yummy! Stop by that evening from 5-8pm, mention you support NE Tarrant Tea Party, and 15% of your order will be given to our group!
Freddy’s is located at 2820 Hwy 121 in Euless (at the Glade/121 shopping center where Lowe’s is). You don’t have to be a member to mention us when you order, so be sure to bring your friends and neighbors!
Download the Freddy’s flyer found under “Downloads” on the righthand sidebar of our home page under Pictures. Share it via email, and bring it with you to the event. (If you don’t bring the flyer, you have to remember to tell them at the counter that you’re with NETTP).
You get a great meal and a chance for great conversation with like-minded folks (optional!). NETTP gets some much needed funds! We all win!
Thanks for your help!

Our June 14 meeting is a very important one for the future of our group. Up until now, a very small number of us have been carrying a pretty big load in organizing and running the NE Tarrant Tea Party. Not only is this inefficient and a recipe for rapid burnout (the workload simply cannot be sustained), but most importantly, it fails to fully utilize our greatest asset — our members! The time has come for all tea party members to find a way to help. Your contribution might be a small one or a big one, performed behind-the-scenes or be front and center, it might take 5 minutes or it might take hours and hours, but every single role is critical and helpful. Please join us at our Volunteer Fair on June 14 to see how YOU can get involved. A list of volunteer roles we’ll be covering at our fair is available under “Downloads” in the sidebar to the right. Look it over, come with your questions, and get ready to make NE Tarrant Tea Party the most effective group it can be!
And as if the Volunteer Fair were not enough, we’ve got one fantastic speaker lined up for our June 14 meeting as well – Pastor Stephen Broden! It’s gonna be hard to beat this, folks! Please see the details below, and please help share this event by emailing out the flyer, also found in the sidebar on the right under “Downloads”. Invite your neighbors, coworkers and friends!
