J.D. Sheffield Caught in a Rino Trap

When they’re at home, the above is what a Republican Representative wants you to think he’s doing in Austin. However the reality is that most aren’t the Ronald Reagan they say they are. J.D. Sheffield gives us a good example here. Down in Austin, conservative legislation was left in the trash, while “bi-partisan” legislation was pushed through by moderates like Sheffield. He and fellow big spenders increased the State Budget by over $47 Billion. He voted against Conceal Carry Holders in Texas, and he voted to expand Medicaid under ObamaCare. As for him being pro-life, the Texas Eagle Forum (one of Texas’ most recognized pro-life group) gave him a score of 48 out of 100.

The Young Conservatives of Texas also gave J.D. Sheffield a score of 48.

Conservative watchdog group Empower Texans rated J.D. Sheffield an “F”. He scored even lower than some Democrats.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) gave him a score of just 67%!

Discerning voters need to do two things:

  • learn to dissect these statements (lies) made by incumbents by checking the voting record, and
  • refute the lies publicly via letters to the editor, social media and emails with other voters.
