Join us for our next meeting: August 9 from 6:30-8:00pm at 1060 E Highland in Southlake 76092 (in the gym of Highland Meadow Montessori Academy). We have two fantastic guest speakers lined up: Bill Flores and Michael Quinn Sullivan!
Bill Flores is running for Congress in the 17th District against incumbent Democrat Chet Edwards. Chet was Nancy Pelosi’s choice for a Vice-Presidential candidate to Barack Obama if that tells you anything about him! He’s voted for Obama’s agenda items 97% of the time! Michael Quinn Sullivan is president and CEO of Empower Texans, and its premier project, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility. After the recently concluded legislative session, the Fort Worth Star Telegram said Sullivan “slays taxpayer dragons in Austin… When the heat is on in Austin, Michael Quinn Sullivan knows how to make it even hotter.” A former newspaper reporter, Capital Hill staffer and think tank vice president, the Texas A&M graduate is an avid runner living in Austin with his family.
