Focus on Public Schools
Posted June 15th, 2010 by JulieOur meeting on the topic of the Public School System will include TWO fantastic guest speakers! Merry Lynn Gerstenschlager, Vice President and Education Liaison of Texas Eagle Forum, and Dr. Bill Ames both have vast knowledge on this subject. They’ll both speak on different areas including:
- The text books standards – have they been politically hijacked
- Legislation affecting education coming in January 2010 and how grass roots people like the Tea Parties can have effective input
- Conservative view points on current things happening in the schools.
- The effect of politics on education
Following their presentations, they’ll both join together for a Q&A session from the audience.
