Urgent Call to Action: Your signatures needed ASAP !!!

Posted June 21st, 2010 by "Yawn"

“TX Patriots- Your signatures needed ASAP to get Sheriff Mack to speak” at the upcoming 2010 Texas Sheriff Conference.

Sheriff Mack fought and won a Supreme Court Case that countered an overarching, unconstitutional reach of the federal government. His case overturned the Brady Bill. We’d like Sheriff Mack to speak and encourage other Texas Sheriffs in their role as defenders of the U.S. Constitution.

Sheriff Mack would come to the upcoming 2010 Texas Sheriff Conference but we need signatures (fast) to encourage the conference agenda setters to add him to the speaking agenda.

Would you please take a moment to help by signing and sharing this petition with others?

While his winning case at the Supreme Court was triggered by the unconstitutional Brady Bill, the ruling covers Government Controlled “Health Care”, Cap and Trade, and almost every battle we will deal with this year and beyond.

Sheriff Mack’s success in the Supreme Court Decision was that: The Federal Government may not compel the States to enact or administer a federal regulatory program.”

Join us Aug 9 – Congressional Candidate Bill Flores AND Empower Texans’ Michael Quinn Sullivan!!!!

Posted June 15th, 2010 by Julie

Join us for our next meeting:  August 9 from 6:30-8:00pm at 1060 E Highland in Southlake 76092 (in the gym of Highland Meadow Montessori Academy).   We have two fantastic guest speakers lined up:  Bill Flores and Michael Quinn Sullivan!

Bill Flores is running for Congress in the 17th District against incumbent Democrat Chet Edwards.  Chet was Nancy Pelosi’s choice for a Vice-Presidential candidate to Barack Obama if that tells you anything about him!  He’s voted for Obama’s agenda items 97% of the time!  The 17th District is in our own backyard, and we need to do all we can to win this seat for a conservative.  Click for information on the Bill Flores campaign or on Chet Edwards’ voting record.

Michael Quinn Sullivan is president and CEO of Empower Texans, and its premier project, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility. After the recently concluded legislative session, the Fort Worth Star Telegram said Sullivan “slays taxpayer dragons in Austin… When the heat is on in Austin, Michael Quinn Sullivan knows how to make it even hotter.” A former newspaper reporter, Capital Hill staffer and think tank vice president, the Texas A&M graduate is an avid runner living in Austin with his family. Click for the Empower Texans website and more information on Michael Quinn Sullivan.
